About the Blog
As you may quickly notice, the posted content here can be a bit varied. And sometimes rather unreadable.
The blog part of this website serves a mixture of motives, reasons that themselves have evolved in the years since I first purchased this domain.
The first thing to note is that the writings here were primarily intended as a project of expressionism rather than carefully building the most audience-curtailed content.
There is something about putting your writing "out there" that can help instill the discipline and motivation to actually write something. Even if the content is rather rushed and unedited. It is a start in building writing discipline. And by no means a mark of maturity
Secondarily, it is intended to share various items of research, whether translation or notes, whether for your own purposes as a student coming across this site's content, or as a beacon for anyone interested in opening a conversation, à la Three Body Problem.
Third, it is to play around with thoughts and ideas, that in their obscurity, may seem rather ironic, or an irony that is itself deeply unironic. Renaissance painters were trained in producing copies of the masters in their collective studios, my humble training mirrors the curious strategies of Plato and Kierkegaard. Fractious ideas that may not entire cohere with one another.
All that to say don't take this all too seriously. The research work probably comes closest to a sincere attempt at some public contribution, but even then I would not rate anything on here sufficiently pruned for publication. This is the open-air wing of my workshop.
Make of it what you will.
